Requirements | High School diploma or equivalency required.
5 years minimum CNC Milling machining experience in precision manufacturing environment.

Capable of interpreting complex blueprint, GDT and other specifications
Proficient in the use of precision measuring instruments
Knowledgeable in basic shop math and trigonometry
Capable of reading G and M codes and able to follow programs at the control and make proper offsets to ensure meeting specific tolerances for each part.
Capable of selecting proper cutting tools and determining feeds and speeds.
Physically mobile and able to safely operate heavy machinery, and be able to perform routine tasks and occasional heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs).
Must be able to stand, bend, lift, push, pull, and safely run all machines.

Description | Sets up and operates CNC Milling machines. This will include setting up and installs tooling into the machine including making tool offsets as well as locate starting points for each part/job.
Load Workpiece into the machine as per set-up sheets, fixtures or verbal direction. Indicate, orientate, clamp, shim, tighten, etc.… the workpiece as needed and then tear down after machining is complete.
Performs machining operations on a variety of parts at times with high levels of complexity, ensuring machining operations are performed within established parameters, minimizing scrap and rework with acceptable levels of output.
Read and interpret a variety of blueprints as well as engineering and quality specifications.
Read and interpret work instructions, set-up sheets and tool lists
