|Job Title||Business Development Manager
|Requirements||BS in Engineering or equivalent.
Five years’ experience in a technical sales and marketing function, with increasing responsibility and assignments.
Experience with the defense and aerospace industry required
Experience in a complex product selling environment
|Description||Develop marketing plans, business plans, sales strategies, and action plans for identified targets, schedules and assignments to optimize the growth of the business.
Collaborate with the company’s components division to establish annual targets and objectives plus set sales goals and policies
Forecasts by providing data to prepare, update and control predictions to include new-business sales, bookings and investment requirements by customer and program
Oversee current sales accounts and revenues
Initiates, leads and directs proposals
Establish a network of manufacturing representatives and distributors which perform the sales function
Authority to hire and terminate professional-level employees as well as to select and terminate members of the network of manufacturing representatives and distributors
Ability to motivate and manage both externals sales and internal sales personnel
Assume other activities and responsibilities from time to time as directed
