Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Knowledge of manufacturing operating techniques and inspection techniques.
Knowledge and experience with quality control planning and associated documentation.
Experience tuning microelectronics products under a microscope
Experience working with engineering teams
Experience with soldering and electronics assembly processes
Experience performing visual inspections

|Description||The Electronic Tuner / Tester III tunes electronic systems, subassemblies, and parts. They will also conduct a variety of electronic, mechanical, and electromechanical tests on electronic systems, subassemblies, and parts to ensure unit functions according to specifications or to determine cause of unit failure. The Electric Tuner/Tester II may also be responsible for completing rework on assemblies and/or systems as a result of testing and assist in the selection and set-up of specialized test equipment.
Reads test schedule, work orders, test manuals, performance specifications, wiring diagrams, and schematics to determine testing procedure and equipment to be used.
Connects and tunes units using test equipment such as signal generator, frequency meter, network analyzer, or spectrum analyzer.
Reads displays that indicate electronic characteristics such as voltage, frequency, time delay, distortion, inductance, and capacitance.
Compares results with specifications and records test data or plots test results on graph.
Records defects on tag attached to unit and returns unit to production department for repair.
Confers with engineers, technicians, production personnel, and others regarding testing procedures and results to resolve problems.
Tests functional performance of systems, subassemblies, and parts under specified environmental conditions such as temperature change, vibration, pressure, and humidity
Analyzes test results with specifications and records test data or plots test results on graph.
Prepares test equipment setup to evaluate performance and operation of nonstandard or customer returned units.
Prepares technical reports, summarizes findings and recommends solutions to technical problems.
Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.
